VITTORIA - 27.5" MAZZA
The new Vittoria Mazza combines years of athlete input with cutting edge tread technology, raising the bar on the mixed terrain Enduro tyre category.
Starting with a defined center tread, the Mazza uses deep siping in the direction of rotation, allowing the tyre to roll fast while still opposing drift, especially in off-camber terrain. The stepped leading edge rolls like a ramp, but digs in on climbs, making Mazza a top choice for both front and rear use. Substantial room was designed into the center tread to provide braking traction, while also accelerating cleaning.
Cornering on the Mazza is handled by Vittoria’s trademark progressive sipe width technology, which gives a gummy inside effective edge, but without the instability that competitors experience on the outside of the tread. Simply put, bigger sipes flex more than smaller sipes. This unique siping pattern creates asymmetrical tread flex, and translates into a predictable, confident, and communicative feel at the limit of cornering.
Mazza’s generous tread depth claws into a range of terrain, and is stabilized with Vittoria’s proprietary 4C compound layering process. Four separate Graphene 2.0 compounds are layered, allowing the surface of the tread to remain tacky, while the base remains planted. This ensures each effective edge is kept in place under high cornering and braking loads, leading to reduced rolling resistance, and increased wear life. The bar has been raised.

ENDURO CASING
Enduro is the strongest and most robust casing from the Vittoria MTB line. It features a double-layered Nylon 120 TPI breaker covering the casing from bead to bead for increased puncture protection. The anti-pinchflat rubber inserts placed over the beads prevent damages at the bead and sidewall level. The Enduro casing is compatible with tubeless set-up. The Enduro tyres use a 4 compounds (4C) tread powered by Graphene: the best compound technologies from Vittoria.
TRAIL CASING
Trail is the best casing option if you are looking for a resistant yet dependable tyre. It uses an additional 120 TPI Nylon protective layer and anti-pinchflat rubber inserts placed over the beads. This combination makes the Trail casing the go-to option for those who want minimize the chance of puncturing at the bead level and tyre sidewall level as much as possible. Trail uses tubeless-ready Aramid beads. TRAIL tyres use GRAPHENE 2.0 tread with 4 compound (4C): the best technologies from Vittoria.
4C COMPOUND
Vittoria 4C compound layering technology features separate base and surface compounds, in both the center and the side areas of the tread. This approach allows to fine-tune the flex of the tread-base and tread-surface separately, placing the correct hardness of the Graphene 2.0 compound exactly where it is needed for maximum cornering, climbing, rolling, and braking performance. In addition, durability and puncture protection are also improved, as the robust base compound resists punctures, and provides a stable base for deeper mountain bike treads.
Each of the 4 layers is comprised of different natural and synthetic rubber types, blended into the compound that works best for the intended use. This allows for endless customizations of each layer according to the tyre needs.
