SCHWALBE - 29" ALBERT
Guarantee of safety and control in all situations.
- Experience unparalleled safety and control with our radial tyres.
- The radial carcass ensures a larger contact patch, providing superior grip and handling on uneven surfaces. This enhanced traction translates to improved comfort and safety.
- Our optimised tyre profile features numerous lugs for maximum control and durability.
- Enjoy peace of mind knowing you're riding with the ultimate in safety and performance.
The structure of radial tyres:
With our radial tyres, we are turning the MTB world on its head. We have always asked ourselves the following question during development: How can we make the best possible use of the limited contact area of a tyre?
The basis for this is the completely rethought construction of the carcass. The carcass threads, which run diagonally across the tyre at a 45° angle in conventional bicycle tyres, are arranged at a much more obtuse angle in our radial tyres. This technology opens up a completely new dimension in the function of bicycle tyres.
HIGHLIGHTS
- More grip for even more safety
- More comfort thanks to more cushioning
- Larger contact surface on the ground

CONSTRUCTION
Radial:
More grip, more damping, more of the trail. The increased contact area and the more flexible response behavior provide significantly more grip, more damping, more safety and more comfort - so you get more out of the trail! The tyre absorbs impacts better and uses the suspension travel more effectively - it literally sucks itself into the ground. This applies to both mountain bikes and e-MTBs, which provide significantly more traction on the ground with radial tyres.
Punctual deformation. The carcass material overlaps for a shorter time and with less tension. As a result, the tyre deforms more selectively and can react much more flexibly and adaptably to unevenness without sacrificing the safety factor.
Higher contact area. Radial tyres offer approx. 30% more contact area than conventional tyres at the same air pressure. Even if the air pressure is increased by 50%, the contact area is still 15% larger.
Trail: As versatile as a multi-tool: a stable construction, with a range of applications from intense all-mountain and trail rides to enduro use. The construction is designed to combine moderate weight and reduced rolling resistance with high cornering traction and puncture protection. A stable carcass with two layers on the side wall and three layers under the tread. Fabric layer over the entire tyre together with APEX for additional protection. Tubeless Ready (TLR).
Gravity: The tread and strong shoulders are protected in this extremely stable construction by four carcass layers in combination with a stable fabric layer (bead to bead). A special APEX layer protects against punctures and increases the lateral stiffness of the tyre. Thanks to the turn-up construction, the tyre remains unusually flexible for a particularly smooth ride. Tubeless Ready (TLR).
COMPOUND
ADDIX SOFT is a compound that bridges many disciplines. It’s just as at home in the Enduro and downhill world as it is in the demanding discipline of all-mountain and trail riding. It also impresses when used in combination with other ADDIX tyres – more speed: Soft on the front, Speedgrip on the back. Or more damping: Ultra Soft on the front, Soft on the back.
