The Peak SL contains pureblood DNA from the Peak, mated with the latest in research and development from within the Goodyear Bike factory to produce our lightest, fastest rolling, and focused MTB XC race tyre yet. With a tread pattern designed to tame the challenging conditions found on modern World Cup level XC courses.
The low-weight Peak SL is a more speed-focused tyre than its sibling, the Peak. It features a new cross-country race inspired design with closely spaced low-profile tread to reduce rolling resistance.
One of the lightest tyres in its class, riders can achieve faster acceleration and experience better handling which is enhanced by the additional support and protection from its M:Wall sidewall protection layer, making it ideal for cross-country racing.

DYNAMIC COMPOUNDING
- Dynamic: A/T – All-Terrain compound providing excellent rolling efficiency while maintaining a high-level grip to minimize power transfer loss.
PROTECTION
- 120TPI + M:Wall - Utilizing a finer thread fabric, our 120 tpi casing uses less rubber – making the tyre more supple and faster rolling, with improved traction. M:Wall - Durable Mono fabric found in the sidewall of the tyre and used where cut and abrasion are paramount.
TUBELESS COMPLETE
- Goodyear Bicycle Tyres proprietary design that features all the benefits of a Tubeless Ready (TLR) tyre with additional air retention properties. A multi-compound material layer is added to our tyre casings allowing for improved air retention while providing additional puncture and cut protection with minimal weight increase. Our unique design means more sealant remains after installation, ready for the moment you need it.
